Unfortunately, due to a very serious family illness, Flip Pallot has to put his calendar on hold to allow him to be at home with his family. Please keep Flip and his family in your prayer.
October 7th, 2009 Update
Sunday Oct. 25th, 2009. Like the last fundraiser, it will be held at Blanco's Bar and Grill in Houston, located at 3406 West Alabama just west of Buffalo Speedway. Carabba's Italian Grill has once again stepped up to help with the food, so you can expect some of the best fried chicken and sides you'll ever taste. There will be also be live music by The Donny Taylor Band. Don't miss out on this great event. There will be a Silent Auction with some unbelievable items, a Live Auction with trips gear and other great things and this year, we're going to have a huge "Fishing Garage Sale" for items donated to the event. The garage sale will be a great way to get an unbelievable deal and all the proceeds will go directly to Chris. (If you want to donate tackle to the garage sale, you can drop it off at any of the shops here in Houston!)
Fishing celebrity Flip Pallot, of ESPN's classic Walkers Cay Chronicles, has been a long time friend to Chris and has volunteered his time to join us and help with the event. Be sure to drop in and meet one of the greats as well as one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. Hell's Bay Boatworks (www.hellsbayboatworks.com) has also stepped up and built one of their beautiful Glades Skiffs for us to raffle for the event. Tickets are $100 a piece and can be purchased in the donation bar on this page or by contacting me directly at the shop (281-481-6838 ask for Andy). This is a great way to help Chris and get a chance at winning one of the finest flats skiffs ever built! Thanks again to Hell's Bay!
Sweetgrass Rod Company (www.sweetgrassrods.com) is building a one of a kind, custom bamboo saltwater fly rod specially for the live auction at the event. They are one of the absolute premier cane builders in the world so you don't want to miss seeing this one of a kind classic!! Jerry and Dave will be coming down, all the way from Montana, to join us at the event and even to do a little redfishing. You have to come see the incredible work they do.
